The Library Can Help You Be a Successful Student!


Visit Cuyamaca College’s library during the months of August and September to learn about the awesome student resources we have! Did you know we have reference librarians that can help you find books and journal articles for your research papers? Did you know that we loan out graphing calculators to Math 110 (and higher) students for a whole semester? Did you know that you can renew your books and find journal articles on your own computer from home? Did you know that we have many course textbooks on reserve? Stop by the library and LEARN MORE!

Did you know that September is Constitution Month? Throughout the months of August and September, the second floor display features items honoring our country’s constitution. Stop in and celebrate with us!

And the Winner is . . .

We had 134 entries for the pinata raffle and Monday, May 21 @ 5 pm we drew the names of the lucky winners. Miguel is now the happy new owner of a Green Bad Piggie pinata from Angry Birds! Congratulations Miguel!

Viva Mexico!

Win a piñata! Visit the library during the month of May and enter for your chance to win one of the two awesome piñatas on display in the circulation area!
Also during the month of May, the Cuyamaca College library will honor Cinco de Mayo and Mexican culture. Stop by and check out the beautiful golden eagle—Mexico’s national bird, currently on loan from the San Diego Natural History Museum. Additional items, books and information related to Mexican culture, heritage, customs and history are also on display.
