Springtime @ Cuyamaca College

This month’s library display focuses on establishing solid foundations for a bright and cheerful future. On April 9th, the annual Health Fair is held in the Student Center and our display cases provide books on healthy living. Information on the varied services and health screenings available at this event and other resources available to Cuyamaca College students are featured. Then, on April 27th, our Ornamental Horticulture department, in conjunction with the Water Conservation Garden, presents “Celebrating Urban Farms & Gardens 1994-2013” at the 20th annual Spring Garden Festival sponsored by San Diego Home/Garden. In support of this popular community affair, our displays feature a variety of gardening tips for the smallest spaces and containers to large acreage farms as well as resources like raising your own chickens.
